Angus Archives is the Angus Council repository for the historical records of the former Angus burghs (Arbroath, Brechin, Carnoustie, Forfar, Kirriemuir, Montrose and Monifieth), Angus County Council and for private papers and photographs of all types. Specialising in family history, house history and local history, Angus Archives is open to the public Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm to assist with research. We frequently hold events both in-house and around the county.
