• Providing a service which can include daytime activities such as walks, scrambles, rambles and photography safaris, Dave Lake, as your driver and enthusiastic guide, will keep you engaged and will ensure that your experience is interesting and fulfilling, based on his extensive knowledge and experience built up over decades of living and working in Scotland.

• Dave spent 22 years running the largest residential outdoor activity centre for children in Scotland. He has been walking, climbing, and generally exploring the Highlands since childhood. His aim is now to infect visitors with his own passion and enthusiasm for Scotland’s wild, beautiful and historical places.

  Dave is a  qualified Mountain Leader, a keen amateur photographer, geologist and naturalist…so my tours can reflect some, or all of these things. It’s also worth noting that I provide a comprehensive high definition photographic record of every trip too!

  Dave especially enjoys showing people the “off the beaten track gems.”

Dave is also an accomplished cook and has prepared excellent meals for his guests from time to time.
