📋 Itinerary

Day 1

Depart Edinburgh or Glasgow and head north stopping at the Kelpies, Loch Lomond, Glencoe for photo opportunities and Fort William for lunch. We then head up to

Fort Augustus and then take the road to Skye. We then cross the Skye bridge and head to our accommodation. Which will hopefully be in Portree.

Day 2

Rise and shine for an early start. Pick up from hotel and embark on our tour of Skye. We head up the breathtaking Trotternish Peninsula stopping at Kilt Rock, Old Man of Storr, the incomparable Quiraing, Flora MacDonald’s grave, Museum of Island Life and the Fairy Glen at Uig.

Day 3

After a night of refreshing sleep, it’s up again for an early start. Today we visit the West side of the Island to the Watternish Peninsula and head over to Dunvegan castle. Home to the Clan McLeod for centuries. Next we head to Neist Point Lighthouse, located on the Durnish Peninsula. This is a fairly arduous walk so only really for customers who are pretty fit. Even if you don’t hike to the lighthouse, it’s still gorgeous and a great place for wonderful photos. From here we will head down to Talisker distillery located on the lovely Minginish Peninsula

for a tour and a taste of one of Scotland’s finest whiskies. Then we head over to Glenbrittle in the brooding Black Cuillin Mountains to the Fairy Pools which again is a walk that involves some physical exertion. And well worth the hike.  Go for a wild swim if you dare!  We finish the day with a visit to the Sligachan bridge before heading back to our accommodation.

Day 4

We start our journey home by heading south by Invergarry. And over to Spean Bridge and then the old Military roads. This brings us across to the A9 and we will make a stop at the quaint and charming town of Pitlochry before our drive back down to Edinburgh or Glasgow.
