Alien rock was Scotlands first dedicated indoor climbing centre and has been providing a fun, exciting and friendly venue for indoor climbers since 1994. Indoor climbing is suitable for almost all ages and abilities from the complete novice to experienced climber, whether you visit individually or as part of a group of friends. Instruction can be booked in advance or experienced climbers can just turn up. There are no annual or monthly membership fees for daily entry. Hire equipment is also available. There are two venues, ‘alien 1’ is primarily for roped climbing both top-roping and leading; ‘alien 2’is a dedicated bouldering centre nearby where the climbing is done over soft, ‘crash’ matting.
