📋 Itinerary

Pick up from hotel or ship

Visit Blackness Castle which served as Black Jack Randall’s Wentworth Prison in Fort William

Visit the Stately Hopetoun House and grounds which was the setting for the home of the Duke of Sandringham for the series in season 1-4 

Visit Midhope Castle; the Ancestral home of Jamie Fraser “Lallybroch” 

Travel down the Kingdom of Fife coast for a visit to Aberdour Castle which was used as the monastery where Jamie recovers from the torture inflicted by Black Jack Randall, and onto Dysart Harbour which was the French port of Le Havre in the series. 

Spend time in the picturesque and ancient town of Culross which is the bustling village of Cranesmuir where you can find the home of Geillis Duncan along with Claire’s herb garden and Laoghaire’s Cottage.

Head to the quaint town of Falkland which is “Inverness” in 1945 Scotland. Find the B&B of Ms. Baird and look for the shop where Claire wishes she had a vase….

Visit Doune Castle, the MacKenzie brothers’ stronghold AKA Castle Leoch

Head back to the pickup location. 

There will be plenty of time to explore all of these beautiful locations. Let us transport you back to Scotland in 1743!
